Expect the Unexpected

Extra UNordinary Volunteering.

Nothing in my past of stuggles or joys would have suggested that in 2013 I would have the honor of volunteering in Israel. Imagine walking "Eretz Yisrael", the Land of Milk and Honey!

My Volunteers For Israel/Sar El work week is Sunday-Thurs 0800-1600. I will be performing various support jobs around the base. Actually "Chow Hall" duty would be right up my g-alley....get it?
But the rest of the week is mine to explore!  There is a young lady name Rachael in Jerusalem, (Granddaughter of my Mother and Father's close friends and neighbor in FL), who is in her 3rd semester of Middle Eastern Studies. Rachael has agreed to show the newbie the bus system and other handy tips for my exploring enjoyment and safety!

My Packing list is complete and I am nearly done with my To Do list at home.
